Application recommendation

1. Cleaning & paint preparation

• Pre-clean the vehicle thoroughly alkaline (e.g. with Green Star 1:10 – no sealing shampoos).
• Coarse dirt such as tree resin, rust & tar with a clay bar Or Tea (Tar Remover).

2. Polishing & hologram removal

• Depending on the condition, heavily to moderately weathered paintwork is prepared mechanically with the coarse Heavy Cut polish or the Fine Cut polish. 
• Slightly weathered paintwork and the removal of holograms after polishing with Heavy Cut or Fine Cut is done mechanically with the Micro Cut high-gloss polish using a DA. 
• Remove polish residues completely with a Polish and Sealing Towel.

3. Surface preparation for sealing

• Wipe all surfaces gently with a clean Polish and Sealing Towel soaked with Panel Preparation Spray and wipe with another new Polish and Sealing Towel with the second hand just before drying. This is the only way to completely remove surfactants, drying aids, the oils contained in polishes, etc. and to avoid adhesion problems with the Ceramic Body Cb0.01. 
• The paint should now be scratch-free & hologram-free. Do not touch with your hands anymore! (wear gloves).

4. Applying the ceramic seal

• Wet the Application Sponge or Applicator Block with Ceramic Body Cb0.01 & apply quickly (component by component).
• After applying two cross coats, a thin, closed film of liquid must be visible.
• Allow the product to flash and then polish off with the Coating Towel.
• Flash off time is dependent on temperature and humidity (see below)
• Air time:
  • Higher temperature/humidity = shorter ventilation time
  • Lower temperature/air humidity = longer ventilation time
• Example: 20°C / 43% humidity → ventilation time approx. 6 minutes
• Consumption: Approx. 15–30 ml per vehicle size

• First remove the excess and then use the fresh side of the towel to buff off in circular movements without applying pressure. Check the result with proper lighting to ensure that it is free of high spots.

  * Ceramic Body Cb0.01 reacts with humidity. This can cause crystals to form on the rim when the bottle is open. If these crystals get onto the Application Towel, the surface to be coated will be scratched. Therefore, the crystals must be wiped off with a cloth before the product is dripped onto the Application Towel.

5. Hardening & Protection

• Double coating: If desired, apply a second coat after 30 minutes of drying time.
• Weatherproof after 24 hours.
• First vehicle wash at the earliest after 9 days - until then gently remove dirt.
• Colder temperatures (< 15° C.) extend the curing time.

• The application of Spray Sealant S0.02 is recommended after 24 hours to protect the not yet fully cured ceramic seal.
  

6. Care & Aftercare

• Avoid cleaning agents with pH <3 or >12!
• Hand wash recommended:
  • Alkaline cleaning: Green Star (1:10)
  • Neutral wash: Gentle Snow Foam
  • Mineral cleaning:Reactivation Shampoo
• Professional aftercare recommended:
  • Hydro Foam Sealant(1:50–1:200) as wet sealing
  • Spray Sealant S0.02 Or ProtectorWax as a topper

7. Storage & Shelf Life

• Opened bottle max. 6 months shelf life.
• Check for crystallization before each application – remove crystals before use.
